Kizito Ssamula Mukasa, Fraunhofer IESE (Germany)
Kizito S. Mukasa is a researcher at IESE since June 2006. He worked at the Centre for Human-Machine Interaction (ZMMI) at the University of Kaiserslautern (06/2001 – 06/2006) where he attained his PhD. in model based prototyping of generic and consistent UIs. Before that, he made a “Diplom” (equivalent to Masters) in computer engineering at the same University with the major in software engineering. His areas of interest include usability for IUI and embedded systems as well as requirements-based reuse of software artifacts.

Andreas Holzinger, Medical University Graz (Austria)
Andreas Holzinger is associate professor for Information Processing and is currently head of the Research Unit HCI4MED at the Institute for Medical Informatics, Statistics and Documentation at the Medical University Graz and head of the WG HCI&UE of the Austrian Computer Society. His main interests include Multimedia Information Systems with special emphasis on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) & Usability Engineering (UE) and Technology Enhanced Learning, especially life long learning.

Arthur Karshmer, University of San Francisco (USA)
Arthur Karshmer is a professor at the University of San Francisco, and has been involved in the design and development of assistive technologies for over 20 years. Ever cognizant of the connection between assistive technologies for the disabled, Professor Karshmer has also developed a keen interest in transferring much of this body of research to aid people in the context of assisted living.
